It seems all our scientific heads are insufficient to effect the core change that only real inner knowing, arising from our individual and collective spiritual hearts, can bring about. Perhaps the world is beginning these days to get fired up beyond more than its physical preservation and to address the underlying cause-of-causes as a […]
~ I recently watched a young twenty-something man’s imploring video in which he questioned, ‘What is this life about?’ and this response arose, which I’m moved to share here: Love, and enjoy the beautiful flowering of this day. 🙂 I note your sincerity and thank you for it – it will serve you well. Here’s […]
What with our common, 100% personal, cultural and national conditioning, most of us are furtively fumbling around in the darkness of established conformity, taking comfort in ‘already’ knowing and believing; in apparent pretensions, contentions and social conventions, and the repeated renderings of a restricted and sanctioned life that’s – in a word – a “Quotation”. Our born insecurities lead us to find comfort in already knowing, in believing. In defending, offending, and pretending. Good thing our being-nature is not divisive and violent, but peaceful and loving. In aware living, I’ve noted recently that there’s a gentle moving into, as it were, the silence of being. Only in silence can the […]

They present themselves like cool, clear water to a thirsty heart and head – you know, the quotes both visual and conceptual that open the heart and mind to home truths […]
See that for every reaction, there’s a reaction and nothing but more compounding conflict. Action arising from aware being – love, loving – restores peace. 🙂 We – conditioned humans, cannot and do not act; we react from our cultural individual and collective programming with its beliefs, desires, and fears. When, in the rare event, […]
“If useless things do not hang in your mind, every season is a good season for you.” (Murnon) The writer John Updike once said: “The writer of fiction, a professional liar, is paradoxically obsessed with what is true –what feels true, what rings true in the fabrication being assembled “. In other words, within the […]
Seems there are stages of recognition – intellectual, psychological, emotional, physical (I am not this body; I am not this mind). There seems to be a whole instant, timeless recognition that changes everything permanently, AND a gradual embodying of all that timeless non-experience – an inner ‘witnessing’, a dissolving of the remaining body/mind based residues […]
