Awareness is a celebration of Christmas.

This Robert Bateman painting greeted me early this Christmas morning and to me, it represents the pure, storyless beauty of reality, of Christ’s Christmas without being overlaid with the conditioned beliefs, stories and projected glories that society and cultivated conditioning and comercialization overlays on the real beauty and wonder of life and aware living.
~ Notes to myself: December 2024:
~ On aging: stop sailing on the surface of body/brain sensations; the wise drop an anchor deep into exploring one’s being-nature.
In seeing that sensations, thoughts, feelings separate and conjure a ‘me’, there’s an aware observing from one’s core calm essential and eternal being.
~ One comes here in time
In virginal innocence,
not looking for a thing,
for that all and plenty
a new born world
promised it would bring.
*One gazed upon one’s self
in wonder and
empty fullness
knowing joy
in simply being
mere creation.
*Tenderly at first
One steps from delight
in being all that is,
To tentatively believing
in Time’s becoming.
In Self’s deceiving.
*In time, one becomes
an old singer
of old songs
already sung.
*Of yesterdays’
threadbare stories,
believed,
about living a life
totally conceived,
already done.
A life that died
when it begun.
*Seeing what is
as if for the first time
is being reality,
loving living
in one’s natural peace
joy and beauty.
*Love, and be well. 🙂
