{ be calm, don’t carry on, dept. }
There’s a natural peace and quiet in aware living that’s needed by all of us at any time, but especially in these turbulent times, apparently. In any event, it’s perhaps helpful and in fact, realistic, to note: ‘This too, will pass…has passed.’ Seems life is a constant movement; it has curves, twists and round-abouts, as the Brits say about driving English roads. Indeed, it seems events drive us to distraction and despair some days, yes..
Be calm, don’t carry on. 😉
Take an off ramp, pull over and stop in the only place you really can: NOW. Slow down, ease off the gas and the cellphone, look up and alertly listen; allow a space for your inner quietude to arise and let your head and heart rest here. Explore the natural inner repose that’s always here, but which gets veiled by all the passing noise and bling. In giving loving attention to our innate, undisturbed spirit – the ground of our natural being – real peace, joy, love and beauty, simply presents. Enjoy your self. 🙂
