DAWNINGS: The Last Ideal.

DAWNINGS: The Last Ideal.
Here’s the first chapter of my unpublished novel exploring living in both its apparent dual, personal, and non-dual modes. Also, here’s the Intro, and an invitation to read, comment, and share. Love, and be well
~ In the telling of this tale, there’s a wandering, wondering, and weaving of words in narrative and first-person form, in prose and poetry, noted at various times with a mixing of fancied fiction and repetitively observed fact, so to speak. Also, throughout this book, I’ve sprinkled the unbounded beauty of the Mandelbrot Set, a modern natural phenomenon as diverse as snowflakes, the leaves of ferns, and the form of mountains.
These infinite images are made up of intricate fractal shapes, which, at every scale of zooming in or out, remain similar though never identical as detail is magnified. Same, but different. They demonstrate the spiritual teaching that we can see in the material world as ‘happenings’ of a higher dimension of awareness and consciousness.
Taken all together, perhaps there’s an ever-unfolding of self-knowing, including and beyond words, symbols and shapes about reality, to resting in the open, immeasurable silence of simply being that reality. Love, loving.
