Growing into unknowing.

“It is necessary to grow; necessary to outgrow” said Nisargadatta. Indeed, it seems necessary to keep growing to avoid getting stuck in any form of knowing, in accumulated psychological knowledge (including theories, methods, doctrines, rituals, etc.) stored in memory; in any form of attachment to believing one knows. This never-ending growth happens without effort, with the direct realization that, in truth, there is no knower and nothing to be known, or to become.
There is only this changeless, alert, living present; this unknowable awareness of being – all else comes and goes, apparently. In aware living, One deeply enjoys all the senses, thoughts and feelings – all that is passing in form that’s relative and human – from an inclusive, divine, unattached, formless perspective, so to speak.
In non-personal fact, while the binary, either/or brain apparently distinguishes, separates, compares and rates, there is ultimately only One thing going on, yes! There are no levels of this timeless pure awareness one infinitely, universally, is. In time, one may – or may not – be aware of being aware, it seems.. No matter! Living can be a personalized suffering or a celebration that’s free of suffering.
That one is, remains; what one is, is totally unknown – some call it ‘love’! There’s a curious moment-to-moment unfolding and a discovering that deepens as it delights. It’s a wonder, but only infinitely so! 😉
~ Advice to myself: There is only freedom in aware being. Let nothing bind. Be one’s own authority. Stay open and opening, passively moving and discovering the fullness of simply being without knowing. 🙂
