Is ‘This’ all there is?

It seems all well, good and complete to say and sum-up what’s happening or going on as it’s all “THIS”. And to apparently turn all eyes toward the external and psuedo adoration of “This”. Indeed, that’s the first necessary recognition perhaps, but that is surely not sufficient. With that half-true understanding that “this” is nothing and everything, one can simply, apparently, dismiss – actually miss – the WHOLE inner observation of reality – of what in fact one Is, which is aware of all “this” – aware of all that passes in and as body/mind experience, but which itself is not an experience that comes and goes.
That sincere exploration beyond the fleetingness of ‘this’, leads beyond ‘nothingness’ and nihilism, to a profoundly rich, deep and ever deepening direct recognition of that which does not change, that which one ultimately, actually, is: awareness.
In reality – in the fullness of truth – while one cannot know what one is or know what this is, one can – in a moment of humility, gratitude, and grace – directly, without any external authority or belief or knowledge, realize ‘that‘ one is. That isness is one’s awareness of being aware. Here and now, fully. In truth, only awareness is aware; to ignore or dismiss that is to seemingly get lost in this (the phenomenal) and to entirely, completely, miss the whole (noumenal) context of all ‘this’ – the awareness of it.
