It takes One to know One.

“We look at a fact with words, which is thought, or with conclusions, which again is thought and words, or with knowledge we have acquired previously, which again are words, based on experience, which is the result of memory, which conditions every form of experience. To look at something without thought does not mean to look at something blankly, emptily, but to look at it through the understanding of the whole significance of thought.”
~J Krishnamurti
There was a ‘Wind Warning!” on Vancouver Island all night and this morning. I was sitting at my window having tea and quietly watching – rather, discovering! – that windy world as it danced and swirled. O how grandly and subtly beautiful everything is, and how mysterious. The winds were chanting and branches of towering majestic pine were swaying together like a congregation, dancing and bowing before me. Bugs and bits of bark and one-winged maple seed keys were wildly twirling as they were carried off far and away. Streams of fluttering golden autumn leaves were flowing in heavenly beams of muted sunlight, and one basked in a beauty that’s evoked by beauty, a peace, by peace, a joy, by joy. One adores itself.
Indeed, in aware living, in not knowing but in simply, openly, being and discovering that which one is now, One sees itself in every moment, every thing, every day. The vaporware of thoughts and beliefs that apparently distinguish an inside from an outside, a ‘me’ and a ‘you’, merge and melt away. One is One, and there is love. 🙂
