PLAIN BEING IS PLAIN JOY. ENERGY.
“There is no feeling without thought, and behind thought is pleasure, so those things go together—pleasure, the word, the thought, the feeling—they are not separated. Observation without thought, without feeling, without word is energy. Energy is dissipated by word, association, thought, pleasure, and time; therefore, there is no energy to look.” J Krishnamurti
In aware living, we act not from unseen, inherited habits and age-old preferences and denials, but from a loving, aware seeing of these built-in body/mind reactions. There’s a simple watching; a constant catching and releasing. In truth, there’s always a spacious letting go that’s already done, yes. That’s the way love acts – it just dives in.
There’s real energy in plain looking, in plain seeing. Unadorned, unconditioned, direct perception reveals the joy and beauty, peace and love of one’s natural being in daily living. There’s an acting from clarity. Quietly relax and simply see and allow all that’s happening here and now to easefully pass. In letting it all go, one immediately “drops thoughts and feelings like hot coals.” There’s a gentle, loving catching and releasing of all that’s appearing – that inner drag of feeling, thinking, believing, wishing, wanting – just see it and let it all flow in simply being. Being is empty; it has no direction, no ambition; there’s no lack in being love. There’s a flowing, an intimate experiencing, (no denials) AND a constant letting go of experience (which, like the wake flowing off the stern of a moving boat, fades.) One lives in a fresh not-knowing, in innocence, listening and learning. In simply being happy to be. 🙂
