THE GIFT OF LOVE, PEACE AND FREEDOM IN FACT.
“Freedom is the capacity to look at a psychological fact without distortion. That freedom is at the beginning, not at the end… one removes psychological resistances by observing the fact, and not allowing the mind to be caught in unreal, ideational, theoretical issues. When you are confronted with a fact, there is no possibility of resistance; it is there.”
~ J Krishnamurti
~ The gift of awareness, of simply, directly being aware one IS aware, is the supreme gift to yourself, from yourself. Indeed, to open and directly know yourself as nothing and everything, is to recognize one IS – here and now – unadorned divine awareness appearing as a limited human.
There’s nothing to do to unwrap the gift; simply ease off on believing the mind’s ideas ‘about’ reality and allow the space to introduce – to present – itself. Only don’t know. Open in quietude, in passive, unattached looking and alert listening.
Life and the living beauty and enjoyment of it is the supreme gift. In fine, One is the gift and the giver, yes. π
~ When I look inside and see that I am nothing, that’s wisdom.
And when I look outside and see that I am everything, that’s love.
~ Nisargadatta
Seems in aware living we’re always saying “yes” to life as it happens. Part of that welcoming arises from the recognition of our true self as being nothing in particular and everything in general – the whole – both empty and full, so to speak. Indeed, in aware living there’s a living paradox.
There’s a basic understanding: ‘Let nothing bind‘ which wisely guides. That’s paired with: ‘Love, and be well‘. That love wholly includes; it’s an action that’s always appropriate to a situation as it presents here and now. Love’s a non-personal (includes the ‘personal’) experiencing of this living moment; it’s pretty much all that seems to be going on, in fact. There’s a constant shedding of the past and an effortless dwelling more and more deeply in this ‘active present‘, this freshness of now, yes. π
