WHAT IS LIVING AWARENESS?
That’s a Big Question, which is unanswerable speaking mind-to-mind, in story form. Indeed, it’s a Fool’s Errand to attempt to word the wordless. 😉 It seems we’re so blinged and blinkered by finite body/brain experience that we don’t recognize the subtle but precious fact of infinite aware-beingness. Awareness is that which one is. It’s graciously, directly ‘accessible’ from an emptiness (of self) and an unoccupied (belief-free), totally open, mind. It’s easy to come upon awareness when the ‘you’ stops looking for it!
Wisdom, aka awareness, is not accumulated fragments of knowledge; it’s the instant perception, like seeing a fly, a water drop or a fact, now, on the wing, as it is. 😉
In the observation of awareness, one may find there’s this constant background of alertness – of already, always, being aware of being aware. In fact, all else (mind activity, thoughts, feelings, aka body/mind conscious, sentient ‘experience ‘) comes and goes in that field of awareness, so to speak. In discovering or uncovering one’s aware being, there’s a gentle quieting – usually first of the mind and then of the body; there’s a plain, unaddorned observing and delighting in what is, exactly as it is. That which is simply, obviously, ‘watching’ is this changeless, constant awareness; the comings and goings within it are the flow of consciousness, so to speak.
In knowerless living, there’s a constant, immediate seeing/letting go; a full-on experiencing of life now, as it’s happening, here
Awareness never excludes; it includes body/mind consciousness, but is totally unattached. Over time in aware living, the waves of conflict in consciousness (habitual ‘personal’ sensations and vibrations) settle down more and more into the ocean of awareness. Love. A spacious, non-personal freedom and peacefulness remains as the still, silent ground for all the body/mind’s activities in daily living. Awareness is love. Let love take the lead, and awareness (way beyond words about it) presents itself to itself, in fact. 🙂
